Tribute to Cllr Eileen Andrews

It is with great sadness that we heard of Eileen's passing. She was an amazing servant to the town in so many areas from festivals to District & Town Councillor. She was a founder member of Cullompton Community Association and served as a Trustee for over 50 years. Her service is marked by a standing of trees in the CCA. I was privileged to be a fellow Councillor and serving Mayor with Eileen as a fine voice for all things Cullompton. She will be sorely missed in the Community and mourned by her extended family and colleagues.

Thank you to everyone involved in the rebuild of the bridge in CCA fields.. Ian Scholefield, William Gillings, Colin Rowe, James Buczkowski and his lads John, Jacob and Jamie. We have just got to beg steal or borrow a whacker plate for an hour to compress the surface, on time and on budget

The bridge will now be a safe access for HGVs and fairground equipment for the Great Cullompton Festival July 23/24 th in the fields nearest to Tesco.

Forgot to give special thanks to Labdons Builders Supplies for their advice and the materials purchased and supplied.
